Dr. Patrick Bitature is a Ugandan businessman, investor, Founder and Chairman of Simba Group, a diversified enterprise he established in 1998 with interests across telecommunications, energy, hospitality, real estate, agriculture, and financial services in East Africa.

His entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 14, shaped by early adversity, and grew into a lifelong commitment to building businesses that create jobs, solve real problems, and drive economic growth.

Through Simba Group, he has built and led enterprises including Simba Telecom, Skyz Hotel Kampala, Protea Hotel Kampala, Simba Properties, White Nile Consults Ltd, Simba Farms, Electro-Maxx, and Ibanda University, among others.

Beyond business, Dr. Bitature has served in several leadership and governance roles across public and private sectors, including Chairman of the Uganda Investment Authority, Chairman of Umeme Limited, Chairman of the Private Sector Foundation Uganda, and roles on boards and national initiatives in aviation, healthcare, investment promotion, and public service.

He is widely respected for his resilience, leadership, and practical business insight, and continues to contribute to conversations on entrepreneurship, investment, and sustainable development in Africa.
