White Nile Consults was incorporated on 18th November 2011 and has operated as a specialized environmental and oilfield waste management company since 2012. It functions as more than a waste management enterprise: the company operates Uganda's largest privately owned environmental and waste treatment facility, combining advanced technology with regional expertise to convert hazardous oil waste into environmentally safe materials.

White Nile Consults' vision is to be the leading provider of environmental and waste management services to the oil and gas sector across all its operating jurisdictions, delivering a one-stop-shop, integrated waste management solution while creating long-term value for stakeholders, communities, and the environment.

Three Core Services

Solid Waste Treatment covers waste stream analysis, segregation system design, material recovery, controlled treatment, and disposal, with advisory on operational planning and compliance. Wastewater Treatment and Disposal designs and supervises systems ensuring safe discharge and long-term operational reliability for domestic, commercial, municipal, and industrial streams. Waste Valorization treats waste as a resource with measurable value, guiding clients from waste characterization through to reuse, recycling, composting, or energy recovery.

Facility and Capacity

White Nile Consults operates a 110-acre waste treatment facility in Kikuube District, in Uganda's Albertine Graben region, with the capacity to process 1,000 tons per day of drill cuttings and 400 cubic metres per day of drilling fluids. The company is ISO 14001 certified, NEMA licensed, and lists TotalEnergies among its key partners in the oil and gas sector.
