Mr. Jeremiah Kato

Jeremiah Kato is the Group General Manager at Simba Group, bringing over 15 years of experience across banking, oil and gas assurance, governance, risk management, and internal auditing.

He is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified Risk Management Professional, and holds a Master of Science in Enterprise Risk Management from Columbia University.

Before joining Simba Group, Jeremiah held senior risk and audit leadership roles including Head of Enterprise Risk Management at the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), Chief Internal Auditor at Cairo International Bank, and Internal Audit Manager at Tullow Oil, building and leading multicultural teams across seven countries and executing audit and risk engagements across the United Kingdom, Norway, Gabon, Ireland, Ghana, South Africa, the UAE, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda.
